This would be one of the few religious type songs I really like.  Actually, randomly, I burst out singing it for no good reason.  I know, a atheist belting, "PRAISE THE LO-ORD I SAW THE LIGHT!" is pretty ironic, but eh...I'm not the only one who does it.  I really do like Hank Williams though, I prefer senior to junior, but both are alright.  For some reason, I feel that today is going to be a good day, at least in some respect.  Maybe it's just a current feeling of tired and hungry and knowing I can eat and nap, hahaha...I don't know.  I feel good though.  Anyhoozie, onto the song...

I Saw the Light - Hank Williams Sr.

I wandered so aimless, life filled with sin
I wouldn't let my Dear Saviour in
Then Jesus came like a stranger in the night
Praise the Lord I saw the light

    [Chorus:]
I saw the light, I saw the light
No more darkness, no more night
Now I'm so happy, no sorrow in sight
Praise the Lord, I saw the light

Just like a blind man I wandered along
Worries and fears I claimed for my own
Then like the blind man that God gave back his sight
Praise the Lord - I saw the light

    [Chorus:]
I saw the light, I saw the light
No more darkness, no more night
Now I'm so happy, no sorrow in sight
Praise the Lord, I saw the light

I was a fool to wander and stray
Straight is the gate and narrow the way
Now I have traded the wrong for the right
Praise the Lord, I saw the light

    [Chorus:]
I saw the light, I saw the light
No more darkness, no more night
Now I'm so happy, no sorrow in sight
Praise the Lord, I saw the light.
