Picture it, about 1998...I am 10 years old. I hear this song...456746456879 times, enough to form my own personal ban on it for the next 11 years. Ok, not exactly that, but I did hate the mere sound of it for nearly a decade. Buddy however, was the sort who would help the ridiculous amount of over plays along. Anyway, I've grown to appreciate it for what it is, and it really makes me think of innocence, in a way. Not that the '90s were innocent, but eh, being 10 is...at least for me it was.
Kiss Me - Sixpence None the Richer
Kiss me out of the bearded barley
Nightly, beside the green, green grass
Swing, swing, swing the spinning step
You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress.
[Chorus:]
Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me
Kiss me down by the broken tree house
Swing me upon its hanging tire
Bring, bring, bring your flowered hat
We'll take the trail marked on your father's map
[Chorus (repeat)]

Haha. I have those songs I've heard that much myself. Weird, I know.
@abilene_piper_lg - Haha, I think EVERYONE has a song or two like that. My mother still refuses to listen to "Rio" by Duran Duran.
@possums_rock - Hahahaha. So true. Of course, since I've entered my cluster cycle I haven't been listening to much, as I can't handle it. Haha. Oh the pain of cluster headaches
